What a week at the lake can do for recharging, relaxing and getting back to nature. Friends, family and lots of food! The thrill of putting on the ski vest, strapping on the slalom ski, throwing on the gloves and grabbing ahold of the grip of the ski rope. Driver ready, engine primed and rope tight. The thrust of the engine and up on the water! The water like glass, the wake cresting on each side, pressure on the back of the ski and side to side we go. One hand on the rope, other reaching out to slice the water...perfect form! Nearly a 180 degree angel as I slice back and forth, back and forth. Now a jump of the wake, just warming up for the trick ski!! A test of the water for now it's the kids and guests turn....Wake board, knee board and tube time! Saawwwwing!!! "Just a little more summertime" - Jason Aldean cranking out of the head unit!! Life really doesn't get much better than this. Thank you Jesus for a little time to appreciate the beauty of your earthly gifts of nature, special people, food, fun and boats!!!
